Reefcast looks nice but I'm just worried about storms hanging around. Looking at an iron man trip but don't want to drive 3 hours just to cancel for lightening.

Guess I'll just look Thursday night and see how widespread the storms are. I have XM weather so can dodge them if needed.

Any other tips for doing so? Trying to hit the tower area.

It has rained some everyday so far this week, some of the showers have been rather heavy. I haven't seen any lightning since Monday afternoon though. Maybe we will get a break John. I'm looking at Saturday around Horseshoe, Atlantic Ledge area or maybe around BP25 and Long Bay areas.

I am looking at Friday/Saturday out of southport too but haven't decided for sure yet because of the storm chances. It's about 4.5 hours for me. I swear the wind dies and the storm chances go up

Looks like the South fan is coming back on tomorrow, and blowing the weekend again.

Hope you guys have good luck.I just don't trust this stalled front enough to make the 3 hour drive down in the morning.

Which means it'll probably be beautiful and you guys will whack the fish!
