How to Instantly Mark New Spots of Interest

So you're in Supermap and you bring up, let's say, the Chlorophyll data layer on your screen. Maybe you see a push of bluewater for example that you'd like to investigate further against other data layers like SSH or SST for instance - because who wants to take the chance on fishing an unprime area just because its blue water??

Here's how to INSTANTLY mark interesting spots in Supermap without any of the "waypoints" displayed. (this works in SeaView as well!)

1 - Apply the first data layer.
2- Back on the map, visually pick out any spots you are interested in.
3 - Pause your mouse over each spot & single right click your mouse.
4 - You will see a red X appear marking the spot & this waypoint has also been added to your user waypoints list (which you can delete later if you'd like)
5 - Change data layers & your red marks stay put so you can see what else is happening at those spots.

Pretty neat & simple, huh? Laughing

You can do this with or without the 8100+ Free Waypoints in Supermap too. This guide is just an example to show you how instant marking is done.

There's a SAMPLE walk through HERE with attached pictures, make sure you are LOGGED IN otherwise you won't see them:
